Evan Carter
Thursday May 15th to
Saturday May 17th

A veteran of Toronto’s comedy scene, Evan Carter has been described as “a young Bill Cosby”. Evan spends his time observing the world through his eyes, the eyes of a father, husband, son and friend. His likes, dislikes and especially what confuses him provide an endless source of fascination and material. If you want a stand-up comedian
who allows the audience to sit back relax and have a good hard laugh at life then you’ve come to the right place. It’s not unusual to hear comments like “that happened to me the other day”, “my kids do that all the time”, “my husband/wife does that to me too, I thought I was the only one”. Well you’re not, and Evan Carter is here to let you know that it’s okay to laugh about it.

Ted Bisaillion
Thursday May 29th to
Saturday May 31st

Ted Bisaillion is one of the most travelled comedians in the country. He is a frequent guest entertainer at corporate events in tropical locations, freeing him from much of the harshness of our Canadian winter. He also performs frequently on cruises. An extremely high energy act, Ted whips the crowd into a frenzy with his fiery style and accessible material. His act covers the life of a travelling man. Flying on discount airlines, using hotel mini-bars, filling hours and leaving loved ones behind (OK his cat) all get that special Ted Bisaillion treatment. The true definition of a professional, Ted always leaves them breathless with laughter.

Fank Spadone
Thursday June 5th to
Saturday June 7th

Frank Spadone is definitely one of most talented comedians that Canada has to offer. As many great artists have proven that “art imitates life”, Frank’s comedic style equally reflects that “comedy imitates life”. Frank has a unique way of taking elements of his everyday life and creating comical stories. His remarkably perceptive observations of the world we live in gives Frank’s brand of comedy a universal appeal that leaves his audiences in stitches. Frank has had two appearances at Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival and his own “Comedy Now” special on CTV. He has also released two comedy CDs entitled “My Life’s A Joke” and “The Best For Now”. Frank is a star you can still afford to see live.

Elvira Kurt, voted Funniest Female Comic at the Canadian Comedy Awards, continues her modest quest for worldwide comedy domination with a hit series, “Elvira Kurt: Adventures in Comedy”, on Canada’s Comedy Network, not one but two (!) specials on Comedy Central and the animated series, “Reality Chick”, on the Oxygen Network, for which she is the voice of the title character, an eight months pregnant feminist superhero. He also acted as head writer for the CBC’s Tsunami Fund-raiser “Canada For Asia”, and more recently was producer for the series “Hockeyville”.

Kevin Flynn
Thursday June 26th to
Saturday June 28th

One of our favourite New Yorkers returns. Kevin, originally from Connecticut, spent three years as a professional soccer player before making the switch to comedy. In 1998 Kevin won the Boston Comedy Riot and began appearing on numerous comedy specials. A“Best of the Fest” award at Aspen and appearances on “Sex & The City”, “Law & Order” and “Boston Common” have kept Kevin busy on television and his film credits include “Me, Myself and Irene” and “Osmosis Jones”. He also has a juicy part in “The Heartbreak Kid” with Ben Stiller.
Critics have said, “Hilarious and heart warming, Kevin Flynn’s performance has the crowd shaking with laughter at every turn”.
